Of wide baluster form with a flaring mouth, in grey earthenware decorated with a design of sixteen rows of relief-impressed repeating ‘cloud and thunder’ pattern covering almost the entire surface (apart from the neck and just above the foot), the mouth and neck finished using a potter’s wheel. Provenance: Ian Davies Collection, New South Wales, purchased in Hong Kong during the 1990s.
