Thickly moulded in the form of a recumbent horse, the dish raised on four feet, powerfully decorated to the interior with details of the horse, and to the exterior with a horse's face and straw-blown blue speckles to the body. 4.25cm high, 16.25cm wide. Cat. 531

Condition report (carefully viewed under UV, strong light and magnification): very minor fritting to the rim in some small areas (production/firing flaw). One small old chip to the side of the rim at the elbow of the horse’s leg (beside the mane).
