Thickly potted in octagonal shape, decorated with a pair of figures by a lakeside to the interior, lotus, willow tree and boats to the wide rim, and boats birds and mountain to the underside.  5.5cm high, 20cm diameter.  Together with a Japanese wooden box.  Cat. 365. Condition report (carefully viewed under UV, strong light and magnification): extensive fritting around the outer rim and to a lesser extent to the inner edge between the cavetto and flaring rim (production/firing flaws).
