$8,800.00

Jingdezhen, China

Ming Dynasty, Chongzhen Period (1627-1644)

Decorated with millet and two pairs of ducks, one pair flying and the other swimming under the moon in underglaze blue and copper red, with an auspicious inscription around the rim.  8cm high, 9cm diameter.  Together with Japanese double-wooden box, the inner box dating to the earlier Edo period.  Cat. 130
