Ming Dynasty, Tianqi Period (1620-1627)

Each thickly potted and powerfully decorated with figures with varying landscape scenes, featuring figures beside lakes, some with boats on the lake, one with a lakeside hut, two with the sun or moon above.  Each approximately 5cm high, 16 cm diameter.  Together with an old Japanese wooden box.  Cat. 121

Condition report (carefully viewed under UV, strong light and magnification): each dish with areas of larger fritting around the rim, and minor firing cracks (production/firing flaws).  One dish with a larger open firing crack to the rim, with old lacquer infill.
