Ming Dynasty, Tianqi Period (1620-1627)

In the form of two interlocking lozenges raised on three feet, decorated with a landscape design to the interior separated in the centre by a diamond shaped reserve containing a flower.  3.5cm high, 17.75cm wide.  Cat. 527

Condition report (carefully viewed under UV, strong light and magnification): minor fritting to the rim in some small areas (production/firing flaw).  Glaze is a bit matt to the exterior and interior walls suggesting slight underfiring.
